ONLINE THERAPY AND E-COUNSELLING

You may have been directed to this page because you require the convenience, privacy and accessibility of online consultations.  Online therapy can be appropriate for those living in remote locations, restricted by time schedules, struggling with social anxiety or with limited mobility.  I offer video and phone (VoIP) options for online clients.

Currently, no specialist training is offered in SA for online therapists.  For this reason, I am in the process of completing a general certificate in online practice through The Academy for Online Counselling and Psychotherapy in the United Kingdom.

For more information on the general services I offer, please browse the "Home" and "About Me" pages linked below.  If you would like further specific information on online psychotherapy, you are welcome to send me an email and I will forward an introductory brief.

Although online services are proving to be effective platforms for psychotherapy, it is not suitable in instances of acute crisis, longstanding/severe mental health difficulties or high risk/ suicidal ideation.  In such cases emergency and/or face-to-face support is advised.
